Zuckerberg sweats up a storm at D8

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg took to the stage at the All Things Digital (D8) Conference this week and while being questioned by Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher about Facebook’s privacy issues he began to sweat profusely, it was actually uncomfortable to watch.

Zuckerberg’s answers were rambling and he was obviously distracted by the river of sweat forming on his body. He almost came across like a kid being interrogated by the principal. I should make this clear that Walt and Kara were soft balling questions and it never turned ugly so his sweat was either a guilty conscience or he wasn’t prepared for the heat of the stage. Considering Zuckerberg had been on that stage before at D6, you’d think he knew what was coming. Ironically, when he was at D6 he was also addressing privacy issues, that time about his Beacon advertising scheme. Privacy issues are becoming a reoccurring theme with Zuckerberg.

Kara finally suggested that Zuckerberg take off his trademark hoodie and uncomfortably Zuckerberg finally did. This revealed a print inside the hoodie, which turned out to be the Facebook motto, it was kind of disturbing and cult like, watch the video below and see for yourself.

Mark Zuckerberg is, at 26, one of the youngest current billionaires on the planet. His net worth is US$4 billion. I think he can afford to take a few public speaking lessons.
