REPLAY – Geek Actually Live Video Shows for November 5th, 2011

Here are the live show recordings of this week’s “Geek Actually” and “Film Actually” podcasts. The shows were recorded live on November 5th, 2011. Because the shows are live, you get them here with all the mistakes intact. For a much better listening experience listen to the audio podcasts for these episodes. As always, these videos are presented here as a record of the live session and not as a reflection of the final show.

These will be the final live shows for awhile, new work commitments mean that we can’t lock down a steady recording day at the moment. We will continue to do the occasional live special here and there but the regular shows Film Actually and Behind the Panels will now be recorded as straight audio shows. Follow us on Twitter (@geekactually) for news on specials.

The video shows are now watchable on iOS devices as Ustream’s embeds are now compatible.

The Geek Actually podcasts were recorded live on Saturdays from 12pm (AEDST or UTC +11) at geekactually.com/live

Check the individual audio show posts for the show notes. Watch the videos below.

Geek Actually Ep151 – All Good Things Come To An End

This week on Geek Actually David and Josh take a look at the weird and wonderful world of geeks. Stories include terminator style robots a reality, unmanned fighter jets, synthetic blood, bendable self powered e-ink paper, pumpkin carving with combustible gases, a killer asteroid and crazed gunmen who think their neighbour is threatening them telepathically! All this plus edible spray paint, listener feedback and our picks of the week.

Film Actually Ep063 – Anonymous

This week David & Josh review “Anonymous”. Plus they discuss a little entertainment news including the new Bond film “Skyfall” and the new trailers for “Underworld: Awakening” and “21 Jump Street”. All this plus feedback and a brand new Lists of Five – Five Literary Films.

All Geek Actually shows carry an explicit tag due to infrequent coarse language.
