‘Attack the Block’ written and directed by Joe Cornish. It stars John Boyega, Jodie Whittaker, Nick Frost, Jumayn Hunter, Luke Treadaway, Leeon Jones and Franz Drameh.

Our Verdict: A highly recommended, genre bending, English film that will make you laugh, jump and cheer along as the young cast do battle with the alien threat. A must see.

Lists of Five
This week our Lists of Five: Five Great Death Scenes. It’s not that we are morbid but there is something cool about a great and imaginative death scene in movies… here are five of them.
Just a reminder, because we never like to just make things easy on ourselves, our lists are not necessarily top five lists, they are more or a less a list of film recommendations within the theme of the list.
