I have to say the first trailer for the remake of Total Recall has me a little excited. It has flying cars, a big dystopian sci-fi back drop, kick ass action scenes and, did I mention, flying cars! I am a bit of a fan of director Len Wiseman, I really liked the Underworld series and I seem to be one, of about a dozen people, who actually really enjoyed Live Free or Die Hard (Die Hard 4.0 in Australia), so I’m onboard with this remake. Or is it a reimagining because it is based on a short story? I can never seem to get this terminology straight. Watch the trailer below.
Total Recall, based on the Philip K. Dick short story We Can Remember It For You Wholesale, stars Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bill Nighy and Brian Cranston. It is out in Australia on September 6th.
