Feature Film Review

‘Wrath of the Titans’ directed by Jonathan Liebesman and written by Dan Mazeu and David Leslie Johnson based on a story by Greg Berlanti, David Leslie Johnson and Dan Mazeau in turn based on the 1981 film written by Beverley Cross. It stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Rosamund Pike, Édgar Ramírez, Toby Kebbell, Danny Huston and Bill Nighy.

Perseus braves the treacherous underworld to rescue his father, Zeus, captured by his son, Ares, and brother Hades who unleash the ancient Titans upon the world. Source: IMDB

Spoiler Section: 00:28:36 – 00:34:07 – Fast forward this bit if you don’t want to hear spoilers.

Our Verdict: A vast improvement on the first film with great 3D, spectacular special effects and a huge humour injection. Still no classic, but a fun saturday night popcorn flick.

Lists of Five

This week our Lists of Five: Five Favourite Movie Monsters. Wrath of the Titans has monster aplenty, here are five more.
Just a reminder, because we never like to just make things easy on ourselves, our lists are not necessarily top five lists, they are more or a less a list of film recommendations within the theme of the list.
