– Captain America: The Winter Soldier starts production
– Look out for a Justice League crossover in July as Trinity War finally starts at DC Comics.  The crossover event  runs six issues over three different Justice League comic books in July and August.
– Zoe Saldana in talks for Gamora in Marvel’s 2014 release Guardians of the Galaxy
– SHIELD is now Agents of SHIELD, J. August Richard (Gunn) joins in “secret role”
– Marvel unleashes Superior Spider-Month in July with new series Superior Foes of Spider-Man, Superior Carnage, Superior Spider-Man Team-Up and of course, the “Shadowland” story arc in Superior Spider-man
– Marvel’s Infinity will be a six-issue limited series from Jonathan Hickman from August. Prepare for things to get cosmic in this next big event.
– Legendary DC Comics artist and editor Carmine Infantino has died. As an artist, he created the modern costume for The Flash, and co-created Barry Allen, Wally West, Barbara Gordon, Deadman, Black Canary, along with the idea of the Multiverse in “Flash of Two Worlds”. As editorial director, he hired the likes of editor Dick Giordano, writer Denny O’Neil, artist Neal Adams, consulted on the first two Superman films and initiated the first inter-company crossover in Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-man. He was 87.
