Welcome to the All-New Geek Actually Podcast Episode 21, The podcast about everything and nothing as filtered through our geek perspective.

This week Supergirl is a hit, a new Star Trek series in the works, Slave Leia toys are a thing of the past, we tell you our opinions of the Star Wars The Force Awakens trailer (as if you didn’t already know!), Jaime tells us all about PAX Australia and Vin Diesel plays Dungeons and Dragons! All this plus what we’ve been watching and reading, Star Wars trivia, our wanky question of the week and two movie reviews, The Last Witch Hunter and Bridge of Spies!.

Congratulations to our Bring Your DC Heroes Home Competition winners (BR) Pamela L. and (DVD) Jasmine N.

Hosted by: David McVay, Dave Longo and Jaime Lawrence

Nerd Corner Ep 16 – Nerd Corner talks about the Scream franchise

Nerd-Corner-Banner-ep16-2015

On this new episode we have recovered from our clip show and JD is joined once again by “Old School Nate” and “Megan with red hair.”

This week JDs list of disjointed subjects include things such as his continued avoidance of all things Star Wars, a quick review of Fant Four Stick, Nate’s disdain for the planned Rocky Horror remake and a vague discussion of some X-Men Apocalypse tidbits.

All this and we spend almost an hour talking about the Scream franchise (including the TV series) and end up discussing how we’d have preferred the trilogy to have happened.

Nerd Corner Ep14 – The Nerd Messiah Cometh

Nerd-Corner-ArtThis week we don’t even have a clever excuse as to why John Hammond is absent. Subsequently John Dee is joined by his nerdy mate of his 27 years, Paul Parton.

We go through the weeks nerdy news, talk about remakes for a bit and create three new hashtags #GetWellKes #HappyBirthday #NoRemakes.

But the important bit is the discussion about the arrival of the Nerd Messiah, Mr Kevin Smirth himself.
