Nerd Corner Ep13 – Two Guys, a Girl & a Conversation about Video Game Movies

Nerd-Corner-ArtThis week on Nerd Corner John Hammond is again absent so John Dee is joined by “old School Nate” and “Megan with red hair” as they once again go through JDs list and discuss such things as Wonder Woman casting rumours, Ghost trains but not as you know them and even read out a real life piece of feedback.

All this and a rousing discussion about video game movie adaptions that isolates one persons terrible film is another persons terrific.

As always you can send us feedback at nerdcornerau@gmail.com or tweet us @nerdcornerau

Bring Your DC Heroes Home This September!!

The Flash S1 BD CTCWe here at Geek Actually love our comic book superheroes. We had a whole show dedicated to it (look for Vol 2 of Behind The Panels next year) and we spend an awful lot of time talking about them on The Geek Actually Podcast as well. We also love our superheroes on the big and small screen! Well our good friends over at Roadshow Home Entertainment must agree as they are bringing three great shows to Blu-ray this September. Let me let them explain:

Roadshow Home Entertainment are bringing DC Comics’ TV universe to your living room this September with the triple release of The Flash (Season One), Gotham (Season One) and Arrow (Season Three) on DVD and Blu-ray. All three DC shows have proven a hit with TV audiences around the globe with season renewals debuting in the U.S this September (Gotham S2) & October (Arrow S4, The Flash S2). With the cinematic release of Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice due early 2016, followed closely by Suicide Squad & then Wonder Woman in 2017, the DC screen multiverse is well and truly being established. We also have trailers for Arrow season 4 and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 3. All this plus what we’ve been watching and reading and a review of Straight Outta Compton.

This is the All-New Geek Actually Podcast, the podcast about nothing and everything filtered through the geek perspective.

Hosted by: David McVay and Jaime Lawrence

As always this episode carries an explicit tag due to possible bad language.
