Are you a fan of the X-Men? How about Hugh Jackman? Well here it is, the new trailer, fresh online today, for Hugh Jackman’s new film “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. An origin story (thus the name) for the most popular X-man.
Forget Australia, Jackman was born to play Wolverine and not even a whisper of Nicole Kidman, yay!
The story (according to IMDB): Wolverine lives a mutant life, seeks revenge against Victor Creed (who will later become Sabretooth) for the death of his girlfriend, and ultimately ends up going through the mutant Weapon X program.
“X-Men Origins: Wolverine” is directed by Gavin Hood (Tsotsi, Rendition) and stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Dominic Monaghan, Lynn Collins, Danny Huston, Daniel Henney, Taylor Kitsch, Kevin Durand, Will i Am. Or to put this into geek terminology, the cast is Wolverine, Sabretooth, Deadpool, Beak, Silver Fox, Stryker, Agent Zero, Gambit, The Blob and the Black Eyed Pea’s dude!
The film is due for release 1st May 2009 (30th April 2009 in Australia)
