Hosted by: David McVay, Josh Philpott, Shane Gregory and the Geek Actually Chatroom
Welcome to the Geek Actually After Show. This un-stuctured and un-planned podcast is what what you get after we finish recording the two main shows Tech Actually and Film Actually. We basically just leave the mics on and record whatever we feel like talking about. This show gives us a chance to talk about anything that didn’t fit into the format of the main shows.
The Geek Actually After Show is recorded live on Saturdays around 2.30pm (AEST UTC+10). Go to geekactually.com/live to watch it live.
You show notes follow:
This week our ramblings included:
What have we been watching?
‘The Thing’, the Blu-Ray experience and the inequity of Blu-Ray pricing in Australia for the Avatar Collector’s Edition.
We watched the fan made 50’s style Inception trailer

What followed next was unexpected. We started an ‘Only in America’ segment to discuss the sandwich in a can – The Candwich

But we got completely derailed when our chatroom got involved and introduced us to Sweet Sue’s Canned Whole Chicken, probably one of the grossest things we have ever seen. Find out more at the link below and only watch the video if you have a strong constitution. Only in America!

We then tried to talk about 3D TVs without glasses but the chicken was to embedded in our brains by that time.
