Forget “Snakes in a Plane” director David R. Ellis’ “Shark Night 3D”, this should have been his follow up film! The film in question is “Sharks in a Supermarket”, no sorry that is wrong, it is “Bait” in 3D.
Just when you think you’ve thought of everything, along comes another stupid story line. In this film a huge tsunami floods an Australian supermarket, trapping the people inside and filling it with Tiger Sharks! Really, I couldn’t make this shit up. You can see the trailer for this magnificent train wreck below.
Now before you think this is another SyFy special like “Sharktopus” or “Crocosaurus”, it is actually a $20 million feature film written and directed by Russell Mulcahy (“Highlander”) and stars Julian McMahon. And just to add to the brilliance of this production, it will also be in 3D! Look (or don’t) for it in theatres in September.
