This week summer has hit with a vengeance and the studio is about a million degrees. Even with our brains melting and our computers about to blow up, we push on. I’d like to again dedicate this week’s show to the fine group of guys over at The Reel Junkies Podcast which you can find on iTunes or at weekendronin.com and Charlie and Brad over at The Movie Fan House Podcast which you can find on iTunes or at moviefanhouse.com and  Check out both of their film podcasts, I (David McVay) listen to both every week and they always entertain.

Game News This Week: Kevin McKidd would like to play Soap in the film version of Modern Warfare, Capcom’s Dark Void might get the film treatment with Brad Pitt and a kid calls 911 when his parents take away his Xbox.

The Great Internet Tech War of 2009: A judge rules in Verizon’s favour so AT&T tries to make an ad to fight back, cue Luke Wilson.

Tech News This Week: The Microsoft Solid Gold Dancers!!! Bing gains on Google and Unfriend named the word of the year.

Entertainment News This Week: New trailers for ‘Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief’ and ‘The Expendables’, a ‘2012’ sequel planned as a TV series and Tim Burton’s concept art for the Superman movie that never happened.

Our Feature Reviews: This week we review Roland Emmerich’s new end of the world film ‘2012’. This film was pretty much hated by all but it does give us an opportunity to look at the career of Roland Emmerich.

I have put up a separate post that contains the various media clips we played during the show for out audio only listeners. You can view it here.

This episode carries an explicit tag due to infrequent coarse language.
