Super Bowl Trailer: Super 8

“Super 8” is the new Steven Spielberg produced, J.J. Abrams directed super secret movie project. A teaser came out many months ago that told us nothing but got me interested. The only thing we kind of knew was it was a homage to early Spielberg type movies.

Super Bowl Trailer: Captain America – The First Avenger

Okay, this is the one I’ve been waiting for, “Captain America: The First Avenger”. I really dig the way this looks and I can’t wait for the full trailer to be released. I love that they are doing the body replacement technique that they did for Toby Maguire in the first “Spider-Man” movie to make Chris Evans look weedy before the transformation. I was skeptical of this film, Captain America is a hard hero to do as it could walk over the line into camp really easily and Joe Johnston’s last film, “The Wolfman” was pretty awful, but it looks like they may just make this work. I’ll post a full trailer up as soon as one becomes available.

Super Bowl Trailer: Thor

Well nothing really that new here except that this new “Thor” trailer is tighter due to it’s running time. I have to say that I actually like this trailer more than the full trailer released a couple of months ago.

Super Bowl Trailer: Priest

Okay, now I know that Josh is really excited about this film but I can’t seem to grab the vibe. For me, I get a real “Legion” feel about this and that worries me. But I always say that you should be able to keep an open mind when going into a film, so I will go see it. This is the new film “Priest”.

Super Bowl Trailer: Fast Five

Goddamn those filmmakers! I was done with this series, I had no interest in the last one and I really didn’t want to see a fifth one but then they went and put Dwayne Johnson in it and now I’ll have to see it. “Fast Five” is the fifth (obviously) film in the “Fast and the Furious” series.
