Sad Geek News: Mark Hamill is retiring as The Joker

Geeks of Doom has reported that ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum 2’ will be Mark Hamill’s last appearance as The Joker. For those that don’t know, Mark ‘Luke Skywalker’ Hamill has been voicing The Joker for many years now in the DC animated world. He portrayed The Joker in ‘Batman The Animated Series’ and ‘Superman The Animated Series’ plus all the various spin off shows like ‘Justice League’ and ‘Batman Beyond’. Continue reading

Zuckerberg sweats up a storm at D8

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg took to the stage at the All Things Digital (D8) Conference this week and while being questioned by Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher about Facebook’s privacy issues he began to sweat profusely, it was actually uncomfortable to watch.

Zuckerberg’s answers were rambling and he was obviously distracted by the river of sweat forming on his body. He almost came across like a kid being interrogated by the principal. I should make this clear that Walt and Kara were soft balling questions and it never turned ugly so his sweat was either a guilty conscience or he wasn’t prepared for the heat of the stage. Considering Zuckerberg had been on that stage before at D6, you’d think he knew what was coming. Ironically, when he was at D6 he was also addressing privacy issues, that time about his Beacon advertising scheme. Privacy issues are becoming a reoccurring theme with Zuckerberg. Continue reading

Tom Cruise reprises Les Grossman for MTV

This is awesome, Tom Cruise reprises his ‘Tropic Thunder’ character Les Grossman to give advice to the ‘Twilight’ boys and himself in ‘Risky Business’! God I love the MTV Movie Awards, there have been so many great parodies from this particular award show. There are three videos here total, let me know if there were more.

Trailer: Jackboots on Whitehall – The UK’s answer to Team America: World Police?

A few years ago the South Park guys, Trey Parker and Matt Stone unleashed ‘Team America: World Police’ onto the world and we loved it. Now the British are about to unleash their own puppet film, ‘Jackboots on Whitehall’. It is a World War II spectacular with the voice talents of Ewan McGregor, Timothy Spall, Dominic West, Rosamund Pike and Tom Wilkinson. The film is the brainchild of writer/directors Edward and Rory McHenry.
