Re-Development

The GeekActually.com is currently getting a face lift and as with any surgery, there will be some ugly moments :-)

The site will continue with all the same content during the renovations, please be patient with the odd ugly moments.

I’m currently have a little bit of trouble with the CSS so if you are looking for the forum link, go here.

Everything will be up and running over the next couple of days.

Thanks for understanding.

The Un-Official Geek Actually Movie Fan Club

Hi, just a quick update for those that haven’t fanned Geek Actually on Facebook. Every Thursday we go see this week’s film for the review. Josh and I got talking and we thought it would be fun to have other people come with us and the Un-Official Movie Fan Club kinda just started.

We usually go to the Ritz Cinema in Randwick (Sydney, Australia) and we meet just before the movie for a coffee at the Ritz Cafe then go see whatever movie we plan to review for that week’s show. It gives us a chance to meet some of you guys and girls who support the show and if such a thing thrills you, you get to meet us too :-)

So, if you live in Sydney and would like to come along, join the Geek Actually Fan Page on Facebook for movie details and session times etc.

Note: Everyone is welcome but everyone pays for themselves and the group is just a social movie going experience. But we have wonderful talks after the film that sometimes even help inform the review on Saturday.

Geek Actually Replay – Geek Actually Episode 81 After Show Live Video

This week David McVay, Josh Philpott, Dave Kozicki and Shane Gregory are joined (via Skype) by Brad Anderson from the Movie Fan House Podcast. The audio podcast of this episode can be found on this site or on iTunes.

Almost every week we record the Geek Actually Podcast while feeding it live to Ustream. We record the Ustream feed and it is available go back and watch later if you want. It occurred to me that we should just embed the past shows here so you can find them easily. You never know, you’re listening to that podcast and something visual happens, now you can simply find the show here and watch what happened. Enjoy. (Note: We only started recording the feed as of episode 46, there are no videos of earlier shows.)

This is not an actual show, it is the random ramblings of a bunch of geeks. Go listen to the main show first then come back to us. The Geek Actually Podcast and After Show are recorded live on Ustream.

This week we are joined via Skype by Brad Anderson of the Movie Fan House who helps clarify why the Fan House has to change it’s name.
