Platforms Episode 28 – The Retro Show

Hosted by: Josh Philpott and Dave Kozicki with David McVay, Nathan Lawrence, Grant Noy and Denny Markovic

Platforms is a gamers podcast by gamers. The podcast is recorded live on Ustream with chat interaction so come and join the fun as your host candidly discuss the latest in the gaming world. The podcast is uncensored, explicit, honest and very non ‘PC’. This week, something completely different. Platforms takes a trip down memory lane and with the help of a large panel of guests we reminisce about games and gaming systems that we have loved from the past. Everyone talks about their five favourite moments in games and there is even a show and tell section that is best seen on video, which you can watch here. (NB: Due to the chaotic nature of this many guests and the fact that mics had to be shared etc. the sound quality in parts is not as good as usual.)

News This week is kept to an absolute minimum but the R18+ rating does go before the Attorneys-General in May, ‘Gears of War 3’ announced and ‘Syndicate’ might be making a comeback.
