Hollie has to leave but just wanted to express her opinion on our feature review – She enjoyed ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and loved Helena Bonham Carter.

Film Review

This week we review Tim Burton’s new film, ‘Alice in Wonderland’. Both David and Josh were completely unimpressed with the film. Visually splendid but empty. That’s two strikes (after ‘Public Enemies’) for Johnny Depp. David also gives his opinions on the 3D conversion process used for the film – it was like watching an old ViewMaster, not impressed.

This episode carries an explicit tag due to infrequent coarse language.

Opinion

Earlier this week Leo Laporte decided to challenge Conan O’Brien’s Twitter stunt. After telling his listeners to follow LisaTickledPink on Twitter, she got thousands of followers. She has become an overnight celebrity. It raises a couple of questions: How powerful are the geeks? and could this stunt somehow be a breach of her privacy? We discuss it out.

Iron Man 2 – New Trailer

Okay, this came out a couple of days ago but with the Oscars and everything I was a little overwhelmed. When I am too late on this stuff, I usually just skip it as it has been well covered, but this is Iron Man 2 dammit! This trailer rocks and we will discuss it on Saturday’s Geek Actually Podcast.

That portable Iron Man suit at the end is just awesome.
